Vol. 2 of Ibadan’s ‘Pan-African Electro’ links the origins of music with some of the hottest and contemporary releases from its stellar back catalog.
Never one to shy away from his African upbringing and roots, Jerome Sydenham even went to the great lengths of naming his label after the city of his birth in Nigeria, to let the masses know where he is coming from. Ibadan, may not be known in every corner of the world to all people, but for those who do know hold the label in high regard for its commitment to timeless music in any form Jerome can get his ears to. The 'Pan-African Electro' series showcases some of the music that may not remind one of "The Continent", but subtly pays respect to the birthplace of all music and all things.
